Reviews and Ratings
I spent three nights at this lodge, and while the location was quite convenient, the overall condition of the facility left much to be desired. The lodge feels very old and not well-maintained, with dirty ice machines and untidy areas. For the price I paid, I expected better upkeep and cleanliness, which unfortunately did not meet my expectations.
My stay was quite pleasant overall. The grounds are lovely and spacious, perfect for a getaway, though the rooms felt a bit cramped. The dining offered a hearty breakfast, but the service was a little slow due to limited staff. I wished for a refrigerator in the room, and the Wi-Fi could definitely improve for a better experience.
I had a unique stay that started a bit rough due to a tornado causing some issues at check-in. However, the staff handled the situation incredibly well by helping me find an alternative cabin. The location by the lake is beautiful, and I enjoyed the views. The room had its cozy charm, though I missed some amenities like a fridge. Overall, while there were challenges, the staff's dedication and the scenic area made it a worthwhile experience.
My stay at the resort was nice overall, with beautiful surroundings and spacious rooms. While the restaurant service could use improvement and there were some cleanliness issues in the cottages, the lovely views and comfortable accommodations made it a pleasant experience. The room rates were reasonable, but I was disappointed that breakfast wasn't included.
I had a wonderful experience at Kentucky Dam Village State Park, especially with their pet-friendly setup, which allowed my furry friends to join the fun. The cabin we stayed in was clean and had plenty of space, but there were some issues with the first cottage we were assigned. Thankfully, the upgrade to a nicer suite salvaged our stay, making it memorable. The location near the lake was perfect for our boating adventures, although a few small touches could enhance the overall experience.
